He's 18!!!!!!!!

Happy Birthday to my favorite Loyd in the whole world!  Loyd is intelligent, kind, driven, ambitious, down to earth, hard working, spiritual, funny, a great friends, an even better brother, the most amazing son, and a truly incredible Son of God! From the very moment he was born I didn't know how we ever lived without him and his spectacular smiles in our family.  I am the luckiest mama to watch him learn and grown and become the outstanding young man he is today.  Loyd has shown me how to love unconditionally, find humor in everything, and to never turn down an offer for a hug.  Happy 18th Birthday!  I hope you always remember how wonderful, how needed, and how loved you are, Loyd! I love you to the moon and back!

AJR Music Concert

Dustin and I took Loyd, Xavier, and Maeve to see one of their favorite bands, AJR, in concert in Salt Lake.  We went to see the AJR: Somewhere in the Sky concert!  It was so GREAT!  We had a fun listening to all the opening bands and hanging out people watching. Maeve ditched us to sit with her friend as soon as she found out she was there too.  Maeve screamed and cheered so much she was horse for the next day.  :D It was a lot of fun.  We definitely would do it again. :D

It's Christmas Time

It's the Christmas season and we did a few things to celebrate the Christmas cheer this year.  Diana and I and her friend Everett and his fun mom got a personal tour of the Ogden Christmas Village by none other than Mrs Clause herself!  We even got a train ride too!  I think it was the highlight of the season for Diana.  Then we took the entire family to Luminaria at Thanksgiving Point to enjoy the spectacular lights throughout the gardens.  As always, it was awe-inspiring!  We attended the annual Phillips Family Christmas Party.  Santa made an appearance and handed out gifts to all of the kids.  Diana was terrified of him and quickly hid behind my chair when the jolly old elf came into the room.  But, she quickly found her inner bravery and ran up to his lap when he produced a prettily wrapped present and called Diana's name.  She was not going to miss out on her very own gift.  It was so funny and so cute! Xavier's New Job

 Xavier started a new job as a courtesy clerk at Ridley's Supermarket!  He's working with Loyd and is so excited to be earning some money of his own. He's going to do fantastic!  We're so proud of Loyd for being such a great employee that Ridley's decided to give Xavier a job too!  I've got some hardworking, handsome sons!
