I almost forgot to include another fun year of tumbling for Owen and John in the blog!  It was a great end of year review in May.  It's so fun to see them learning new skills and growing in strength and agility.  Yea for tumbling fun!

We Have A Mission Call!

Image
Loyd got his mission call!  As a fun way to tell everyone where he has been called to serve, Loyd gave the letter to me to open.  Then I had to present foods from the location to see if anyone could guess where he was going.  I made cherry pie served apples and cheddar cheese, made some yummy crab, clams, and salmon and served it with cherry juice.  Can you guess where he get's to serve the Lord for the next two years?   It's Vancouver, Washington, English speaking!!!   We are thrilled for Loyd and the big adventure ahead of him!

June was Summer Camp Month

School is out and that means it's time for summer fun!  This month we packed our schedule with lots of fun Summer Camps.  We had Manga Art Camp at the University of Utah for Maeve, week long Outdoor Camps for Owen and John at the Ogden Nature Center, 4-H day camps for Owen and John, Young Men's Camp in Southwestern Utah, near Cedar City, for Dustin and Owen, Young Women's camp at Bear Lake for Maeve, and FSY Church Camp at Brigham Young University of Xavier and Maeve. John and Diana had a week of fun activities with Mom in Salt Lake City while we waited for Maeve at her weeklong Manga art camp.  It a definitely a fun and busy June!  Everyone had a fantastic time at their different camps.  We loved all the time we spent outdoors and learning new things!  We can't wait for next summer to do it all over again! Dustin and Owen getting ready for the Ogden Nature Center camp overnight activity.  Owen had a blast! Owen and John at their separate Ogden Nature ...

Loyd Graduation Extravaganza

This handsome guy worked his tail faithers off and Graduated with High Honors from Morgan High School this May.  I am beyond proud of Loyd.  He has worked hard, make amazing friends, tried lots of new things, pushed himself outside of his comfort zone, and been so kind to those in his circle of influence the whole way.  I love this guy and can hardly wait to see what wonderful things he accomplishes in life.  He's not afraid to try something new, work hard, and help others along the way.  What a fun couple of weeks celebrating Loyd and his many accomplishments to date! Loyd enjoyed many academic(so many AP, College Enrollment, Honors and Technical College classes), artistic (Band, floral design, interior design), and athletic (Mountain Biking) adventures at Morgan High.  He loved being part of the Mountain Biking team and the Band.  He developed many talents, and grew his Testimony in God (attended Seminary all 4 years).  He excelled academ...
