Thank you Summer for giving us time to...   ...have lots of fun taking care of the school district's class pets over the summer.  Rebekah is learning so much about how to care for lots of different kinds of animals and loving all that cuddle time!  ....eat a delicious free meal at Chipotle thanks to some awesome library summer reading program prize coupons!  Yea reading!!  ...enjoy refreshing popsicles with our peeps while hanging out on the backyard play fort.  Life is pretty sweet. :)

 It's the first official week of Summer!  Let the fun begin! So far this week we signed up for 5 different reading programs, made a trip to the beach, invited lots of friends over for backyard water slide fun, volunteered to take care of animals at the CCISD Living Resources Lab, visited a new library, went to the neighborhood swimming pool twice, got our first library reading prizes, and went to a birthday party.  Few, I'm tired, but sure look forward to lots more fun days ahead! Check out Rebekah's awesome beach dragon!  She drew this while we were playing at El Jardin beach this week. She's one amazing artist! Maeve and Owen completed their first reading lot for Helen Hall Library's summer reading program.  Go readers!  The other kids are hard at working reading lots of great books to earn their prizes soon too! Rebekah did it!  She graduated 5th Grade and ended her final year as an elementary school student.  Next Fall brings middle school and all the fun that goes with that, but for now we get to celebrate all the growth, fun, and memories Rebekah made at Lloyd R. Maeve and Dustin went on a fun daddy/daughter date to Kemah Boardwalk.  From these pictures, I think I know why the kids are always so excited to go on a date with Dad.

It's the end of the school year and that means lots of fun parties and special activities with our school friends before everyone head out for summer break.  This is also know as back-to-back party time for a very happy Maeve and Owen.  :) 1st Grade Field Day with Xavier!  3rd Grade Luau with Loyd!   You can't tell Maeve and Owen that they didn't get to meet the real live Moana.  This is one of the very talented Polynesian dancers to shared their beautiful culture of dance and music with the 3rd Graders.  5th Grade Picnic with Rebekah There was water fighting, bounce house, live DJ, dance battles, field games, photo booth, free snow cones, catered lunch from Red River BBQ, and priceless memories forever fun at this amazing class picnic!     Rebekah with her great 5th Grade Teacher, Mrs. Adams. :)
