Construction Queen

Dustin  made me a hall closet!!  With the reconfiguring of the upstairs bedrooms to have actual closet space we discovered we could have a hall closet too!  So, just like that Dustin made my dreams come true and gave me a great storage closet.  Turns out it was just the think John and Diana needed to play fort and babies and toys in.  I guess I'll have to wait before I can put anything of mine in there.  ;D 

Diana discovered the Magna tiles and has turning into quite the amazing architect and engineer! She spends all of her time constructing complex and beautiful homes for all of her little toys.  We are not allowed to touch any of it.  It must live forever just like it is or else we face the rath of Diana.  It's pretty awesome though!  She's just 3 years old and already a building wiz!

AJR Music Concert

Dustin and I took Loyd, Xavier, and Maeve to see one of their favorite bands, AJR, in concert in Salt Lake.  We went to see the AJR: Somewhere in the Sky concert!  It was so GREAT!  We had a fun listening to all the opening bands and hanging out people watching. Maeve ditched us to sit with her friend as soon as she found out she was there too.  Maeve screamed and cheered so much she was horse for the next day.  :D It was a lot of fun.  We definitely would do it again. :D

It's Christmas Time

It's the Christmas season and we did a few things to celebrate the Christmas cheer this year.  Diana and I and her friend Everett and his fun mom got a personal tour of the Ogden Christmas Village by none other than Mrs Clause herself!  We even got a train ride too!  I think it was the highlight of the season for Diana.  Then we took the entire family to Luminaria at Thanksgiving Point to enjoy the spectacular lights throughout the gardens.  As always, it was awe-inspiring!  We attended the annual Phillips Family Christmas Party.  Santa made an appearance and handed out gifts to all of the kids.  Diana was terrified of him and quickly hid behind my chair when the jolly old elf came into the room.  But, she quickly found her inner bravery and ran up to his lap when he produced a prettily wrapped present and called Diana's name.  She was not going to miss out on her very own gift.  It was so funny and so cute! Xavier's New Job

 Xavier started a new job as a courtesy clerk at Ridley's Supermarket!  He's working with Loyd and is so excited to be earning some money of his own. He's going to do fantastic!  We're so proud of Loyd for being such a great employee that Ridley's decided to give Xavier a job too!  I've got some hardworking, handsome sons!
