 One of the Many Perks of Having 5 Cute Children

  Happy Birthday to my little girl!  I can hardly believe this beautiful young lady is already 10 years old!  Rebekah is such a blessing and an example in our family.  She has a tender heart and helps us to keep our home a place where peace comes first and the promptings of the Holy Ghost can be heard.  She lovingly plays with and teachers her younger brothers and sisters and shares a warmth and love for each of them in their own unique way.  Rebekah is smart and thoughtful, often surprising me with the depth and forward thinking she displays in her questions and our conversations.  She is a hard worker, always taking the initiative to take care of her responsibilities at school, home, and church.  She is mature beyond her years.  Rebekah teaches and stretches me every day on how to become a better mother.  I am so grateful for Rebekah and for her in our family.  I couldn't have asked for a better daughter or friend.  I love you, Rebekah!  In honor of Rebekah's birthday w

We made it through our first Pinewood Durby with the Cub Scouts.  Loyd was excited to race his hot pink car he made with Dustin.  We didn't break through the first elimination rounds, but we did enjoy some yummy treats and fun friends.
