Happy Anniversary St. Louis, MO Style
22 years ago I made the best decision of my life and married this amazing man for time and all eternity in the Ogden, Utah Temple, May 1st, 2004.
The past 22 years have been the best years ever. Navigating life with Dustin is never hard or overwhelming. He simply goes with the flow, never stopping his outflow of unconditional flow for me. The last 22 years have gone by in a snap and I can't wait to see what fun and adventure the next 22 years bring. Love you with all my heart Dustin!
Why St. Louis, MO you ask? Well, Dustin happened to have a work trip to St. Louis the same week as our anniversary so I tagged along and we tacked on a few extra days to his work trip to enjoy the sights of beautiful St. Louis. Of course we visited the National Arch, but we also had fun at the Missouri Botanical Gardens (one of the oldest in the country), visited the free St. Louis City Zoo and the St Louis Art Museum, we went on a fascinating architectural tour of the St. Louis Central Library, had a wonderful time visiting a LDS Ward in St. Louis for Church on Sunday, and enjoyed a fun dinner on the Mississippi River aboard a river boat. We learned a few dance steps together, I started reading Huckleberry Finn by Mark Twain, we went on a few fun walks around town, enjoyed the Mississippi river front, and ate some great food together. It was the best ever to spend time together with just the two of us.
When we got home the big boys declared that Dustin must have really needed that trip because he looked 20 years younger. They said I looked the same. ;D I would recommend St. Louis any time for a fun place to visit, especially when you have your best friend along for the trip. :)

I think Dustin found his dream garden accessory. He needs an outdoor throne now!
He looks so good on it!
