Swimming Fun and The 4th of July

July brought a record heat wave so we made the best of all that beautiful sunshine and heat to hang at the pool.  Owen and John took swim lessons, the rest of us took relaxation lessons, and we even got to invite Barra cousins and a friend to play at the Farmington City pool with us too.  We couldn't think of a better way to beat the summer time heat than an afternoon of swimming fun.

And of course it wouldn't be July without 4th of July fireworks!  Dustin and the boys had WAAAYYY too much fun buying and launching fireworks on July 4th and July 24th (Utah Pioneer Day) at Grandma P's house.  We had a fun time celebrating America with fire!

Big Boy train engine went through town on the 4th to help Morgan celebrate the opening of the new historical society building.  Xavier played with the high school band during the parade and for the arrival of Big Boy.  It was pretty exciting stuff!

I helped the Morgan Elementary School PTO run games for the community at the fair grounds.  It was fun to help everyone celebrate a fantastic 4th of July.
