Bekah's Grand College Adventure - BYU BOUND!!!
August was a month filled with lots of conflicting emotions. We have loved summer and are excited to start another school year of learning and growth, but it also means we are saying good-bye to Rebekah and starting a new normal in our home as she moves to Provo for college. She beings her grand college adventure in the College of Engineering Cybersecurity. Dustin, Maeve, Diana and I all got to help Rebekah move into her new dorm room in Helaman Halls. She's staying in the same Hall I did over 20 years ago. Time flies too fast. Rebekah decorated her side of the room to perfect, Dustin and Rebekah set up the ultimate computer workspace at her desk, and Grandma Phillips has had so much fun remembering her wonderful college years at BYU too. It's so fun Rebekah can share in our now 4 generations strong tradition of learning and growth at BYU. Bekah's going to have a wonderful experience! I miss her so much!!
Before she moved to Provo, Diana and I got to ride the UTA Frontrunner train roundtrip from Ogden to Provo and back again with Rebekah. It was our test ride to see how easy it will be for Rebekah to take advantage of her free bus pass and come home to visit occasionally. :) We had a great girls' day of it. Yea for trains!
Soaking up every moment we can get with Rebekah before she moves to college
