Isms and Soccer Fun

Maeve doing one of her favorite things, coloring!

Cute Maeve-Isms:

  • Maeve says, " MmUhm," in a cute little high voice when telling you "yes" to a question.
  • When she is ready to go  she waves her little hand, stands by the back door, and says, "Bye!  Bye!" until you open the door and let her out to play.
  • "Hi" is her favorite thing to say.  She loves greeting new people and welcoming them into her circle with a friendly, enthusiastic, "Hi!"

Funny Xavier-Isms:

  • When asked to clean up his room he comes to me and says, "I can't.  I'm allergic to cleaning."
  • He says, "Last time later," when talking about something that happened in the past.
  • He is the master of "Chicken Butt!" He sneaks up on any and all unsuspecting victims, smacks their bum, and then hollers "Chicken Butt!" This is always followed by him running away giggling like a mad man.
Loyd chasing down the soccer ball.
Loyd is doing well in soccer this year.  He is enjoying the sport of the game, the action of the chase, and the comradery of new friends.  He is doing great this year staying focused on the game and listening to his coaches during practice and games.  I'm very proud of the way he is growing and maturing.  He's a special little man.
Go Loyd!  Yea!
Xavier during a soccer game.  Go Xavier!
Xavier is a study of pure joy as he plays soccer.  He is the first on the field to play, has the largest smile always on his face, and runs with the most bounce to his step.  We all laugh ourselves silly during his games because they are such cute, joyful affairs.  His poor coach is totally exhausted after running around trying to keep ten 3 and 4 year olds focused on playing soccer for 30 minutes.  He definitely is building with gold bricks in Heaven.  :)
