Check out our new hurricane bike!  It's super fun and all the kids love riding around on it in the backyard.  :)   Maeve caught this lizard that was running around inside the house and set him free outside.  She is so cool.  :)    Check out Xavier's awesome magna-tile creation!  I love this kid's creativity.   A sample of one of Rebekah's awesome dragon art projects.  Dustin, Maeve and Owen moved all the furniture around as my Mother's Day surprise.  Check out what a great job they did.  :)

We had another super fun Spring soccer season through the League City Parks and Recreation department.  We had lots of fun learning new soccer skills at our weekly team practices and then putting those awesome skills into action during Saturday morning games at Hometown Heroes and League City Sportsplex parks.  Loyd got better as team goal keeper.  He spent most games as the team goal keeper, blocking shot, after shot, after shot.  He was amazing! Xavier was super fun to watch as the lead Forward.  He chased that soccer ball down the feel with such speed and joy that it was always fun to watch him. Maeve decided to take a page out of her big brother's play book, and appointed herself as team goal keeper.  4 year old soccer doesn't have goal keepers, but that didn't stop Maeve from guarding the team's goal and blocking shots from the opposing team.  It was so fun to watch her practice her budding goal keeper skills.  :) Good season, ev...

  Happy Birthday, Rebekah!  I can't believe it has been 11 years since you joined our family as a sweet and perfect little baby.  You are growing up so fast!  You are now a smart, funny, fun person who loves dragons, reading lots of fantasy books, programming on the computer, drawing, and spending time with her friends and family.  I love your quiet ways.  I love your giggles when you get the sillies.  I love your perfect smiles and amazing self confidence.  I love your support and love given in quiet ways.  I love that you work hard and try to do what is right for the sake of right.  You are an amazing and precious Daughter of God.  I feel so blessed and so privileged to have you as part of my eternal family.  Thank you for letting me be your mother and sharing your precious childhood with me.  You are amazing and I can't wait to see what fun and growth the next year will bring.  Happy Birthday, Baby!  I love ...

  Grandma and Grandpa surprise us on April 30th with a super fun two week visit.  We were so glad they came and had so much fun.  They drove all the way from Utah and the kids and I didn't even know they were coming until they were 30 minutes away in Friendswood, TX on FM5018.  Dustin and my parents had planned the whole last minute fun trip without us knowing.  It was just the kind of fun we needed.  :)    They joined us for action packed Saturday mornings of soccer game fun.   We ate lots and lots of yummy food, including baked potatoes that were the size of a dinner plate!  I think that was Bekah's favorite dinner night.  :) We went for lots of walks down to the neighborhood boat ramp to check out the local wildlife and count the jumping fish.   We hit the beach to enjoy the sun, sand, and surf during this beautiful warm, spring weather.      Look at these two...
