Family Moments in October
I've been trying to cram in as much family fun together as I can before Loyd heads out on his 2 year mission to Vancouver, Washington. I'm really going to miss having him home and under foot. Here's just a few shots from life around the Cornelius House.
We had the best time exploring Red Butte Gardens in Salt Lake City during their Neverland themed Garden After Dark event for Halloween. Diana is pretty sure we explored the real Neverland and she made it home with actual fairy dust.
Loyd has some unfinished business to take care of before he was set apart as a full time missionary - setting off the rest of his firecrackers he forgot about from July!
We have all been enjoying the renewable resource that is our raspberry patch. I can't keep up with the demand around the house for chocolate raspberry bread. We just gobble it down as fast as it comes out of the oven.
Diana and I have also been getting our craft on with lots of coloring, book reading, and bead stringing to keep us busy.
The weather has been perfect so we keep mowing the lawn. I sure do love a long, beautiful Autumn season. :)
