Happy Birthday America!
To celebrate our beloved nation's birthday we planned a whole day of fun. First we made a yummy cookie cake that looked like the flag of the United States (Thanks Rebekah for the awesome decoration on the cookie!). Then, we had a fun afternoon at the League City Park listening to patriotic music, eating yummy smoked hot dogs, and checking out the pony rides, petting zoo, and bounce houses. When we got home from the City's patriotic party we had fun with backyard fire crackers, BBQ bacon wrapped hamburgers (Thank you Dustin!), and watching beautiful fireworks with the neighborhood at the end of our street. Our view of the fireworks over Clear Lake was so good that we could even see the fireworks barge catch on fire when some fire works exploded too close to the water. Luckily, they were prepared and quickly put the fire out so everyone could finish watching the beautiful light show in the sky. It sure made for an exciting end to a fun day. Happy Birthday America!

Petting Zoo Fun
Pony Rides!!!
Owen grinned in pony glee the entire ride. :)
Rebekah graduated from pony rider to pony lead this year. It was cute to watch her help Maeve get on and off the horse and enjoy Maeve's excitement over riding on a pony.
Maeve said she wants a pony for our house for her birthday. I think I'm going to have to tell her to save up her birthday money and maybe one day she can invest in horse property instead. Who knows, maybe her cousin Delaney will split the cost with her and they can buy horse property together. ;)
Sneaking a few more moments at the petting zoo. Those baby piggies are just too cute to resist.
Dad Pants!
Dustin was able to fit 6 bottles of water, 4 plastic boomerangs, 1 squishy ball, and 5 paper fans in his awesome cargo pants pockets of Dad awesomeness. Now those are what I can Dad Pants.
Enjoying some delicious cotton candy.

Backyard Fire Cracker Fun
Owen thought the Snaps were the most fun. He loves the exciting pops they make when you stomp on them or throw them on the ground. He laughed every time. So fun!
