Busy August

This week has zipped by. The kids have been a bit antsy this week because we haven't made it out much to play. We did make it to the end of the summer reading program library party on Wednesday. Rebekah had fun petting the ferrets and eating cookies. We even got to ride the little League City train. She thought that was pretty neat.

We took Loyd for his 6 month old pictures in his adorable blessing suit. Those come back from the printers on the 21st so look for those in the mail some time after then. He looks so handsome!

I got a new calling this morning. This will be my 4th calling in my ward since we moved in. I am now the 1st councilor in the Primary Presidency. Wish me luck and pray for me! I'll sure need all the help I can get!

Well, that's enough of us. Here is the real reason anyone looks at my blog....pictures of the kids!

Loyd loves it when Rebekah play with him. She drives his little car around the Boppie and his tummy in a big circle. Loyd loves it!


This little outfit of Loyd's was so cute I couldn't resist taking some pictures of my handsome young lad. Ah, so cute!

oh they are so cute i cant wate actuly ur not staying at my hosue but im sure ill be at grandmas almost every day that ur day to play with loyd and rebekah

It's About Time We Got Some Snow Around Here

It's been a bit of a warm and dry winter, until our latest epic snow storm!!  We didn't get as much snow as high elevations, but I'm happy with 9 inches in 3 days.  Diana is all in when it comes to playing in the snow, the little boys have been busy as beavers digging snow forts, and Maeve has found that digging out snow paths with her friend Lilly is a great way to "chill" during the afternoon.  :D  The big kids have been busy helping Dustin and I keep the street shoveled out.  Dustin wakes up early every morning to use my Dad's snow plow to clear all of the sidewalks on our street  before the kids have to walk to school. The kids and I have been working hard to keep our driveway and the driveways of some of our elder neighbors cleared after all of this wonderful snowfall.  It's been a fun wintertime treat.  The ward to the child who shoveled the most for this storm goes to Rebekah!  She's a pretty awesome snow shoveler despite her preference for warm

Fun Moments Around the House

Xavier is getting down to work on this year's science fair project.  He's testing to see which oil is best for popping popcorn.  It's important science. John and Diana are enjoying playtime inside boxes, because boxes are the best, of course! John is starting to have fun playdates with friends from the neighborhood.  It's so fun to find good friends who share a love in all things Paw Patrol!
