Dustin's Home!
We survived Dustin's last week in Tyler for Project Lead the Way training. It was a long and lonely week for us at home so we are glad he is back to keep us company and to play babies! Loyd is still working on getting his first tooth all the way through. So far it is still just a cute little speck poking up above his gum line. Poor little guy hasn't been too happy about this teething thing, but he is taking to eating cereal like a fish to water. I predict large grocery bills in my future! We also broke out the bouncy toy this week. I know you wouldn't think he loves this toy by the look on the face below, but he just has a ball bobbing up and down in it and twirling. He also loves to smash the toys on the front!
Bekah is getting prettier and taller every day. She is a lot of fun and getting better with talking. Now if I ask her if she wants to use the potty and she doesn't really feel like it she will replay, "Nope, I fine" instead of screaming "No" at me. :) Her new response is much more pleasant than the old one. She has also taken to saying "Sure" all the time. I guess we must tell her that a lot. She is keeping us busy, but we love it!
Dustin's philosophy is that the kids are never too young to start helping with the chores so here is Loyd on laundry duty. He is suppose to be folding those towels, but he isn't doing a very professional job of it. ;>) At least he is enjoying himself!
Lizzy managed to pull off getting us all stand by tickets to go back to Utah for Jenny's wedding! Yea! Lizzy is my hero. Thanks Liz! We are looking forward to seeing everyone so soon and Rebekah is super excited to fly and see Grandma Phillips again. :)
Have a great Sabbath!
