Snow, Snow, Everywhere, For a Little While
We've had a warmer than usual and much wetter than usual February this year. Most of the snow was almost gone and some of my early Spring plants are eagerly pushing their way up out of the ground. Then, on the day we decided to visit the SNOW exhibit at the USU Swaner Preserve and EcoCenter in Park City mother nature decided to give us a hands on lesson in the beauties of falling snow. We made it home through a blizzard and several inches of snow in a day. It was quite beautiful and a little nerve wracking. I'm hoping my fruit trees aren't too stressed by our crazy weather this year. But, we had a fantastic time learning all about the science, ecology, and art of snow together.
