Pictures Galore!

Here are some cute pictures of the kids. We were eating smoothies in the back yard on Sunday and Rebekah's got away from her when she tried to take a drink from the cup! They are silly kids.

We had a semi successful outing with Rebekah today. We went to the Church to work on a project and she started her little panic attack in the foyer, but with some time by herself to think about her options Bekah finally made it into the gym under her own steam without crying! Miracle of miracles! The Relief Society is making these FHE packets and the coloring is killing us! On one packet I have spent 4 hours coloring. I haven't gotten to the part where I cut the game out yet. Heaven help us! We did make some fun quiet games for sacrament meeting that weren't too bad to put together. Bekah likes to play with the Pioneer Game we made. She has to put the shape pieces in the right spot on the pioneer scene.

Loyd is a funny little guy. he has taken to moaning. When he gets tired he wants to be held and to chew on something, so I sit in the recliner in our living room and rock him why he munches on a cold teething ring. He enjoys this so much he just moans in contentment for up to 10 mins before he moves on to his thumb and drifts off to slip. It's really funny. :) I can't wait to see his reaction to chocolate cake!

Hooray! You've started a blog! I've been thinking about you a lot and meaning to write, but just haven't had a chance yet. It's so fun to see pictures of your cute kids online. Loyd is already so big and Bekah is one adorable girl. You have taken some darling photos of her (and Loyd too.) I hope you like living in Texas. It must be so fun to be living in a house and I hope Dustin likes his new school!

It's About Time We Got Some Snow Around Here

It's been a bit of a warm and dry winter, until our latest epic snow storm!!  We didn't get as much snow as high elevations, but I'm happy with 9 inches in 3 days.  Diana is all in when it comes to playing in the snow, the little boys have been busy as beavers digging snow forts, and Maeve has found that digging out snow paths with her friend Lilly is a great way to "chill" during the afternoon.  :D  The big kids have been busy helping Dustin and I keep the street shoveled out.  Dustin wakes up early every morning to use my Dad's snow plow to clear all of the sidewalks on our street  before the kids have to walk to school. The kids and I have been working hard to keep our driveway and the driveways of some of our elder neighbors cleared after all of this wonderful snowfall.  It's been a fun wintertime treat.  The ward to the child who shoveled the most for this storm goes to Rebekah!  She's a pretty awesome snow shoveler despite her preference for warm

Fun Moments Around the House

Xavier is getting down to work on this year's science fair project.  He's testing to see which oil is best for popping popcorn.  It's important science. John and Diana are enjoying playtime inside boxes, because boxes are the best, of course! John is starting to have fun playdates with friends from the neighborhood.  It's so fun to find good friends who share a love in all things Paw Patrol!
