T'is the Season - Or More Christmas Fun

Christmas brings a whole lot of activity and fun around here.  Here's a few more snapshots of all the fun we've had December 2018!

Rebekah had a wonderful afternoon of fun decorating Tangee and Legacy's cage for the Christmas season.  After she was done they lived in a genuine world of Christmas cheer.

It was Owen's year for the Trooper School Preschool Christmas party.  It was so much fun.  Owen and his preschool friends entertained all of the family who came with adorable Christmas songs, felt total shock and excitement when Santa unexpected entered the party, and enthusiastically ripped wrapping paper from hand delivered gifts strait from St. Nick himself.  At the very end we all enjoyed some yummy Christmas treats and took our happy and tired kids home.

One of my favorite things that came from all the preparations for the preschool party was Owen's newfound love for the songs "Jingle Bells" and "Santa Clause is Coming to Town."  We've had no end of Owen practicing at the top of his lungs around the house, "You better watch out!  You better not pout!  Santa Clause is coming to town." However, Owen seems unaware that any of us can hear him singing.  When we ask him if he's having fun singing he looks at us like he has no idea what we are talking about.

He has also taken to singing "Jingle Bells, Jingle Bells, Hey!" every time he has to use the bathroom.  The bells start to jingle as soon as he starts running for the bathroom door and continue through  washing and drying his hands.  He also claims no knowledge of doing this when asked if he is singing in the bathroom.  :D

John had a great time meeting Santa Clause for the first time.  He had to take a quick minute to check out the awesome beard, and then decided that he and Santa were best buddies.  Most adorable Santa picture ever.  :)

Not everyone felt up to visiting the Festival of Lights this year, so Dustin braved the crowds to enjoy some Texas Christmas cheer with Owen and Xavier.  While they were there they ran into lots of four friends from Church.  They had a great time with the Janis Family, DuBray family, and the Reynolds family.  Great minds must think alike.

A couple of quick shots of Christmas morning before the messy fun of opening all of the gifts.
