Living Museum - The Xavier Year

This is the year Xavier gets to participate in the 2nd Grade Living Museum.  He chose to learn about the hero Thurgood Marshall, an amazing man who fought for civil rights for all Americans and honorably served our country as the first African American Attorney General and the first African American Supreme Court Justice.

Xavier researched the life of Thurgood Marshall, wrote a short biography of his life, memorized his biography, and then presented his speech in front of his class and for all of the parents during the Living Museum.  Xavier did an awesome job!  I'm so proud of how hard and how diligently he worked to honor the contributions of Mr. Marshall to our country.

Way to go, Xavier!
