Xavier's Baptism into the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints

Xavier decided to be baptized into the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints on October 28th, 2017.  I am so proud of my little boy for making such an important and big step toward returning to live with his Heavenly Father one day.  Xavier made important covenants to always remember Jesus and to keep His commandments.  He also recived the amazing gift of the Holy Ghost.  Dustin baptized and confirmed Xavier using the Holy Preisthood of God he has been entrusted to hold.  It was a very sacred experience.  I haven't felt a baptism hold that kind of sacred holiness outside of the Temple before.  Xavier, you are a special boy and I felt that Heavenly Father was very pleased with you on this day for the promises you made with Him.  The Lord knows you and He loves you, Xavier.  Thank you for sharing your important day with us and with so many of our Ward friends and family.  I am looking forward to watching you continue to grow in the Gospel and in your love for God.  I know it is the only way to true happiness in this life and in the next.  I love you!

I miss your sweet family so much!!! And you dont look fat or even pregnant. You should see my stomach, I'm not due until May and i look bigger than you!!! Your family is growing so much too!! I can't believe your oldest daughter she looks like a teenager!!!

It's About Time We Got Some Snow Around Here

It's been a bit of a warm and dry winter, until our latest epic snow storm!!  We didn't get as much snow as high elevations, but I'm happy with 9 inches in 3 days.  Diana is all in when it comes to playing in the snow, the little boys have been busy as beavers digging snow forts, and Maeve has found that digging out snow paths with her friend Lilly is a great way to "chill" during the afternoon.  :D  The big kids have been busy helping Dustin and I keep the street shoveled out.  Dustin wakes up early every morning to use my Dad's snow plow to clear all of the sidewalks on our street  before the kids have to walk to school. The kids and I have been working hard to keep our driveway and the driveways of some of our elder neighbors cleared after all of this wonderful snowfall.  It's been a fun wintertime treat.  The ward to the child who shoveled the most for this storm goes to Rebekah!  She's a pretty awesome snow shoveler despite her preference for warm

Fun Moments Around the House

Xavier is getting down to work on this year's science fair project.  He's testing to see which oil is best for popping popcorn.  It's important science. John and Diana are enjoying playtime inside boxes, because boxes are the best, of course! John is starting to have fun playdates with friends from the neighborhood.  It's so fun to find good friends who share a love in all things Paw Patrol!
