Happy Birthday, USA!

There is a little bit of everything in this post, so I apologize that it is a bit disjointed.  We hope everyone had a wonderful 4th of July!  God Bless America!

This is what Owen's crib looks like when the boys decide he needs more toys to play with.  It was a toy-splosion!

I know a little girl who really loves "choc-it" ice cream cones.  Can you guess who that might be?

Here are my 3 cute boys playing paper towel tube light sabers.  One is never too young to start playing Star Wars.  :D

I know a funny baby boy who happens to LOVE frozen raspberries.  Can you guess who that is?

Rebekah and Loyd both got to go robotics camp for a week with Dustin. They all had a lot of fun building awesome robots in teams of two, and then pitting their creations against other awesome robots in competition.

Rebekah's team came in first place for her age class.  She got the award for best robot driver.  Her robot was named "Jaws".

Loyd's team got the award for strongest robot in his age class.  His robot was named "Satellite".     ~Writing contributions made by Rebekah

We capped the week off with fun 4th of July celebrations at League City's Citizens Appreciation party in the park, backyard swimming and BBQ dinner with fun friends from Church, and watching beautiful fireworks with the neighborhood from the end of our street.  Loyd declared it his favorite holiday (what's better than matches, explosives, and swimming pools when you're a 7 year old boy?), and everyone went to bed that night happy and tired from a day full of fun and gratitude for our beloved country.

P.S. Maeve adored riding on the ponies at the city park.  She talked about it for hours.  All she could say for a while was, "Ponies Fun!  Ponies Fun!"
