Sunshine and Tadpoles

Xavier and Daddy's Enlightening Car Conversation:

Xavier:  Dad, why does the sun always follow me?
Dad:  What do you mean?  It's just up and really big, so maybe it looks like it's following you.
Xavier:  No, it watches me all the time and goes were I go.
Dad:  Why do you think it does that?
Xavier:  Silly, because it likes me! (giggling follows).  The sun is my friend.

That conversation explains so much about Mr. Xavier's sunny disposition.  :)

Tadpoles:

Here is a picture of our makeshift Tupperware tadpole habitat.  Can you see the little black tadpoles inside?  Thanks to some very amorous frogs and lots of happy rain we noticed an overabundance of tadpoles in a quickly disappearing puddle in the front yard yesterday.  Not wanting to pass up a good science experiment we rescued some baby frogs from their quickly shrinking home and brought them inside.  The kids are very excited about their new "pets."  It should be fun watching these little guys grow and change.  Yea frogs! :)
