There are no strings on me!
Xavier finally decided to try standing on his own, unsupported. He decided to show off this new skill to me while in the bathtub Thursday morning. I'm so glad he thought standing up on unsteady legs in a slippery bath was a great idea. Crazy kid. :>)
Bekah decided to play with her wardrobe this week. Can you guess the theme of this outfit? I'll give you one hint; it's not stripes. ;>)
I just love picture perfect moments like these. :>D
We met Santa Clause at the city library this week. The kids were so excited they could hardly contain their wiggles on the drive there. Once inside the warm library they eagerly watch Mr. Clause arrive in style on his red fire truck and come into the library. We all patiently waited in line to sit on his lap and share our Christmas list wishes. To keep the kids busy, the librarians kindly brought small cups of Goldfish crackers. To keep the adults busy, they stuck the line by the cheesy romance novels. We got a good laugh out of reading the ridiculously cheesy titles like "To Love A Highlander," and "The Black Sheep and the Princess."
After a short wait we found ourselves next in line. Bekah rehearsed her Christmas mantra, "I want a doll house and a pillow pet." Loyd was getting a bit nervous and wasn't entirely sure he wanted to near this big red guy with too much facial hair. Xavier started pouting.
When our turn to greet Santa came Bekah nervously approached Santa and spilled her Christmas wish list before he even had a chance to say "Hello little girl, have you been good this year?" Loyd clutched Daddy and was only made to sit on Santa's lap with a bit of gentle cohesion. Xavier wouldn't go anywhere near the nice Santa and cried his best and loudest cry. In the end Santa confirmed that Bekah wanted a doll house and Loyd wanted a pony. Xavier got a candy cane to help dry up his tears. It was a pretty fun experience. The kids are excited to go again next year.
Answer: Rainbows, of course!
