Clean Up, Clean Up....

We have blessed electricity once more. After a week without it we now more fully appreciate such wonders of modern technology as working refrigerators and TV. We are almost done with our own little clean up project here at the house. Dustin has to get on the roof and check out the shingle damage and we have to put up a new section of our fence. Other than that we have all the debris out of our yard. Here are some pictures of our debris pile and the kind men from our ward in their yellow "Mormon Helping Hands" t-shirts helping Dustin pull out the old fence anchors in our yard so we can get moving on putting up the new fence. Thanks for all the prayers and help!

Here are some shots of Bekah and Loyd doing what they seem to want to do all the time lately, eating! They are good kids and have been so patient and helpful during this busy time. Bekah even pitched in and helped me fill trash bags with leaves and pulled small branches out to the debris pile in front of the house with Dad. She is a great kid!

Loyd needs more calories every day. He is getting exponentially better/faster at moving around the house and getting into EVERYTHING! Nothing is safe if it is within reach. He is just so darn cute about it so I can't get too mad at our little cruiser guy!

A whole week without electricity? How did you guys manage? Did Dustin go back to work right away or just barely? I'm so glad to hear that you are getting things put back together and that the kids aren't slowing you guys down. Hopefully you have survived the worst hurricane you'll ever see :)
