Squeezing every last drop of fun out of Summer

It's that time of year we all look forward to and dread...the beginning of another school year.  We are excited for another year of milestones and learning and growth, but we are not looking forward to missing these fun kids all day long while they are off to school, waking up before 7AM to catch the bus, and not having enough time in every day for all the fun activities we can think of.  So, before the school year began again in is't wonderful, foot-dragging inevitability we squeezed in a few more fun things to take advantage of the last final joys of summer.
We hit our neighborhood pool as much as possible.  I think we made it 3 times in one week!

We also made sure to take plenty of time to enjoy delicious, refreshing popsycles in the backyard.  Nothing sweeter than a popsycle with your brothers and sisters.

And then we topped off the fun with cultural edification at the Miller Outdoor Theater.  We were lucky enough to see the University Houston's production of Shakespear's "As You Like It."
We LOVE the Miller Outdoor Theater and all of the great fun, culture edification, and memories it gives our young family.  What a blessing in this great city.
