Busy Week

Last week we were super excited to have Karen, Brandon, Kailyn, and Brandon's aunt and uncle come and visit us! Rebekah followed her cousin Kailyn around all day every day. The first words out of her mouth every morning were, "Kailyn still here?!?" We had a fun time. We went to the Holocaust museum, a Michael McClain concert/fireside, the movie Marlie and Me, walked around The Boardwalk in Kemah, and we spend a day at the NASA Space Center. It was a great visit and we miss them now that they have gone home. Love you all!


Loyd thought Aunt Karen was great fun! She has lots of practice with little boys. ;>)


Bekah was never more than 3 or 4 feet away from Kailyn at any time. She thinks Kailyn is the bees knees! Kailyn had some homework she had to work on while she came to visit so Rebekah is keeping her company while she works.


Kailyn taught Rebekah how to take pictures with her camera while she was here. Rebekah followed everyone around the house snapping pictures and saying "Say Cheese!" Loyd was her favorite subject as he couldn't run away as fast as everyone else. Maybe she has some of Grandpa C.'s photography genes!

I wanna come back so bad!! I love ur house! and maybe next time i come when ever that is i wont stay up late and sleep in all day i kinda felt bad for that :/

It's About Time We Got Some Snow Around Here

It's been a bit of a warm and dry winter, until our latest epic snow storm!!  We didn't get as much snow as high elevations, but I'm happy with 9 inches in 3 days.  Diana is all in when it comes to playing in the snow, the little boys have been busy as beavers digging snow forts, and Maeve has found that digging out snow paths with her friend Lilly is a great way to "chill" during the afternoon.  :D  The big kids have been busy helping Dustin and I keep the street shoveled out.  Dustin wakes up early every morning to use my Dad's snow plow to clear all of the sidewalks on our street  before the kids have to walk to school. The kids and I have been working hard to keep our driveway and the driveways of some of our elder neighbors cleared after all of this wonderful snowfall.  It's been a fun wintertime treat.  The ward to the child who shoveled the most for this storm goes to Rebekah!  She's a pretty awesome snow shoveler despite her preference for warm

Fun Moments Around the House

Xavier is getting down to work on this year's science fair project.  He's testing to see which oil is best for popping popcorn.  It's important science. John and Diana are enjoying playtime inside boxes, because boxes are the best, of course! John is starting to have fun playdates with friends from the neighborhood.  It's so fun to find good friends who share a love in all things Paw Patrol!
