John, John, Everywhere!

John is growing so fast and keeping me on my toes with all of the cute things he says and does.  He is a delight to have in our family and I love that I get to spend my days with this adorable little guy.  Here's some fun things to know about John right now.

Favorite TV Shows: Daniel Tiger's Neighborhood and Blippi
Favorite Song: "I'm an Excavator" by Blippi, "Monster Trucks" by Blippi, and the "Boat" song by Blippi
Favorite thing to do: Play Monster Trucks or do crafts
Funny Things He Says: "Guspostabee" instead of "Supposed to be"
"Take my pempature" pointing to any part of his body when he wants his temperate taking
"I love you mom" - he says this all the time and it makes me happy. :)
"I help you!" when he wants to be part of any activity
"I snuggle you?" when he want to stay up late watching TV with Mom and Dad
"More-tella" when talking about Nutella
Favorite places to go: Preschool at Bright Start Preschool and Story Time at the Morgan County Library
Current age: 3 1/2 yrs old

John is my best snow shoveller.  He is the first on the scene with his new red shovel to dig us and all the neighbors out after a snow storm.  He loves to be a helper and play with his shovel.

John showing off some fun Thanksgiving treats from preschool.  Yum!

John made an awesome gingerbread house at preschool during the month of December.  He had as much fun eating his house as he did making it and showing it off.  :)

It got cold just after Christmas, but don't worry.  John stays toasty and warm outside in his fancy snow pants, out of this world warm coat, fuzzy soft mittens, and the world's best cookie monster hat ever!
John's favorite part of library story time is the craft at the end.  He had a ball decorating a giant pinecone Christmas tree.

More story time craft fun in front of the mural in the Children's section of the library.
John thinks he looks like a helpful firefighter in his new winter coat.  He loves his fire truck and his cool fireman hat.
After all the fun that happens in a day sometimes a kid just has to take a power nap.

Having fun at Kneehigh Naturalists at the Ogden Nature Center.  John had so much fun exploring numbers in nature, even if it was January and pretty cold outside.

Hard at work learning to use tools just like Daddy.  This little guy is going to be one handy man when he grows up.

Fun with paint while crafting with Mommy.  :D
