This last Saturday marked the end of the 2014 Spring Soccer Season. The boys did great and we all had a fun time. We also decided that 3-4 year old soccer games are the most entertaining to watch. :) Here are a few pictures from our last game.
Xavier with is team, the Green Dragons. Go Dragons!
Handsome Xavier
Xavier in action! He turned into a great soccer player, with 3 goals (2 for us and 1 for the other team), lots of assists, and great field running to his credit this season. He really loved soccer. We'll have to sign him up again for sure.
Xavier and his friend Abby showing off their trophies.
Action shots of Loyd! He was an amazing goalie and defender. He saved the ball from going into his goal at least 5 times in his last game. He learned how to follow the ball, stay focused during the game, and have fun with his teammates. Of course, the last was the most natural for our social Mr. Loyd. :)
Loyd triumphantly showing off his trophy.
When we all have fun we are all winners. Yea for soccer fun!
Dustin and I took Loyd, Xavier, and Maeve to see one of their favorite bands, AJR, in concert in Salt Lake. We went to see the AJR: Somewhere in the Sky concert! It was so GREAT! We had a fun listening to all the opening bands and hanging out people watching. Maeve ditched us to sit with her friend as soon as she found out she was there too. Maeve screamed and cheered so much she was horse for the next day. :D It was a lot of fun. We definitely would do it again. :D
Not much to tell from our end of Texas. We've just been keeping busy keeping busy. We have started doing a small story time on Wednesdays with a few friends. The kids love it. Rebekah likes spending time with the other kids and Loyd adores doing the finger plays. I'm sure Great Grandma Young is helping him learn all the actions. He's really quite good at them and picks up the plays rather quickly. Loyd also went in for his 18 month old well baby visit. Everything is looking good for our young man. He is tall and skinny and seems to be ahead of the curve on his developmental milestones. The pediatrician was impressed. Rebekah is turning into quite the social butterfly. She loves to play with her friends. She would have them come over every day, all day if she could. When they have to go home she turns to Loyd and spends the rest of the afternoon telling him what to do. She taught him a few games with some carpet squares and has him trained on how to play a good g...
We had fun finally using up the rest of Loyd's fireworks haul. Thanks Loyd for the fun! Thank you Pioneers for building such a great foundation for us to grow from!
