Happy Easter
We hope everyone had a great Easter last week! We invited some friends over, had an exciting little egg hunt and settled in for two solid days of Conference. As you can see, the kids had a ton of fun looking for eggs. We hid candy in several dozen plastic eggs and placed them around the back yard. Once the children were released from the house there was running, squealing in delight, and munching on jelly beans by all who participated.
Bekah made sure I knew she was good at finding eggs. She reiterated several times to me this talent was due to her excellent eye sight. Loyd just had fun finding the eggs. He got quite the thrill out of discovering another hidden treasure trove of chocolate and happiness.
Along with some sidewalk chalk, new beach toys and some candy the Easter Bunny dropped off some play dough. This has become one of their new favorite things to play. They roll it, smash it, shape it, cut it and try to eat it when mom isn't paying attention. Loyd will eat play dough, but he won't touch dinner. Go figure....
