Hometown Christmas

Image
The Christmas Season is upon us!  We had a great weekend treat of going to the Morgan Hometown Christmas on Commercial Street.  We met Santa, saw real live reindeer and mini highland cows, played games, voted on Christmas trees and gingerbread houses, Owen sang in the 4th Grade choir, and even got cool balloon animals!  It was a super fun day and a super fun tradition in our community.  I love making these special memories with my special people.  Merry Christmas!

Seaquest Aquarium Family Field Tri

Image
It was another fun trip to the Seaquest Aquarium in Layton.  We had fun learning new animal facts, feeding lots of fish and birds, and just hanging out with our fun family.  I love sharing fun experiences with the people I love most.  I love a good family field trip. :)  Doctor Fish Pedicures

Happy Thanksgiving

New tradition?  The family that plays online games together stays together. :D  Thanksgiving was a great opportunity for us to spend some quality time together, eat lots of yummy brisket (our new Thanksgiving feast must have! Yum!!), and take a moment to share some of the many things we are thankful for. We have been very blessed this year and I am so thankful for my family, my home, my faith, and my God.  Happy Thanksgiving 2024! John was my number one kitchen helper for the thanksgiving feast.  He's one great chief!  We thought we would be a little extra this year and tried making exciting shapes with rolls.  We had fun making a turkey pull apart and lots of yummy teddy bear rolls.

Library Story Time Fun

Image
Diana and I have had fun going to Library story time each week.  The last few weeks we've taken a friend along with us and that makes story time even better!  My favorite so far are the handprint pilgrim ships we made that the girls just had to show off to the local library fish.  I suppose you could ask for no better ship inspectors than fish.  They know everything there is to know about water, after all. :D

Happy Birthday, Diana!!

Where has the time gone?! My baby turned two and I can hardly believe it!  She's filled with lots of fun personality and amazes us all the time with how clever and quick she is.  She gives amazing hugs and snuggles.  She says all the things on her mind (but we don't always understand what those things are, yet).  She has the most expressive body language, and loves to laugh.  She's always excited to snuggle and read books together and can't get enough fun sleepovers in the little boys' room with her brothers.  Diana loves going to Nursery at church, playing baby dolls and animals, and wearing super cute clothes.  I love that I get to spend my days with this little ball of sunshine and energy.  Happy Birthday, Diana!  You are the icing on our family cake! To celebrate our bright little star we had a fun family party where we ate grilled pizza (made deliciously by Dustin), ate another pina colada cake (because it is just that good!), and opened...
