After waiting 4 months for my new French doors to come in and get installed I finally have the backdoor that I love!!  Supply Chain issued are certainly teaching us to be patient!

Boardgame Fun!

Image
I love that our family loves to play board games.  I love to listen to the giggles and negotiations, and conversations that take place around the kitchen table when games come out and memories are made.  What a fun family tradition.

Wintertime Fun

Image
We got a lot of snow the day after Christmas, but not really much more since.  We had to capture the beautiful, snowy white moment while we could.  We are praying for more snow soon! It may be cold outside this January, but we are busy thinking up ideas to keep us busy.  Maeve had a fun afternoon of making little hug bugs.  They are all unique and adorable. We bravely ventured out on a walk to the elementary school after dinner to play on the playground and make ourselves dizzy spinning on the the fun toys.  Thank goodness for fun dad who make the park awesome! We even made it to the Ogden Nature Center for a program about animals in Utah that have horns and antlers. He had fun learning lots of cool animal facts about bison, prong horns, deer, elk, and moose.

Christmas Concerts

We had so much fun going to see Maeve sing in the Morgan Valley Children's Choir for their Christmas concert.  Maeve did such an amazing job and was so fun to watch.  She had fun being part of the choir with her friend Lily.   This Christmas season we also got the fun of watching Loyd perform on the euphonium in the Middle School Band Christmas concert.  He did a great job and we all had fun listening to the students perform.

Christmas 2021 Festivities

We had a busy Christmas season filled with lots of fun activities.  We partied at the bbq catered 3rd Ward Christmas party, drove through dancing lights at Christmas in Color at the Utah State Fair Grounds with all of the grandparents, enjoyed Hometown Christmas on Commercial Street in Morgan where we got to meet Santa Clause in person and do some fun crafts.  We spent lots of fun time together and enjoyed a happy Christmas morning together.  However, most of all, we loved having the opportunity to celebrate the Savior of the World and His gift to all of us of himself so that we might return to live with Him one day.   Christmas photo booth at the Ward Christmas Party Balloon toy fun at Hometown Christmas More Hometown Christmas fun while waiting in line to see Santa. Rebekah and John Together

Image
Rebekah is a super fun big sister.  She takes time out of her day to spend quality time with little John.  She loves to bake cookies with John and make art projects together.  Here she is very generously letting John paint a rabbit for her bedroom.  I just love watching the interaction between these two.  Here is John showing off some delicious cookies he helped Rebekah to make while Dustin and I were out on a date night.   What a fun pair these two make! Rebekah asked John what the first step was to making the cookies and he replied, "Turn on the onion."  He really meant oven.  :D
