Cornelius Chronicles

Dustin and I took Loyd, Xavier, and Maeve to see one of their favorite bands, AJR, in concert in Salt Lake.  We went to see the AJR: Somewhere in the Sky concert!  It was so GREAT!  We had a fun listening to all the opening bands and hanging out people watching. Maeve ditched us to sit with her friend as soon as she found out she was there too.  Maeve screamed and cheered so much she was horse for the next day.  :D It was a lot of fun.  We definitely would do it again. :D 

We had fun finally using up the rest of Loyd's fireworks haul.  Thanks Loyd for the fun!  Thank you Pioneers for building such a great foundation for us to grow from!  

 Xavier started a new job as a courtesy clerk at Ridley's Supermarket!  He's working with Loyd and is so excited to be earning some money of his own. He's going to do fantastic!  We're so proud of Loyd for being such a great employee that Ridley's decided to give Xavier a job too!  I've got some hardworking, handsome sons!

Diana loves to play babies! John is figuring out how to take selfies  And everyone loves a good gerbil snuggle CiCi wanted to see what all the fuss was about and decided to learn to play Magic the Gathering with Loyd's deck when he wasn't around to stop her.  X-)

Dustin is growing lots of yummy fruits and veggies in the back yard.  Can you spot one of our newest fruit arrivals?  :D Yea Watermelon!  

This summer we've been having lots of fun watching movies in the backyard with Xavier's movie projector and screen.  We even decided to make a party of it and invited friends over for free treats and a viewing of Back to the Future III .  Diana won't budge though.  Her favorite movie outside so far has been the 1990s version of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles .  She's not wrong.  ;D  Loyd has decided he's too old to hang with us for family movie night, so he invited friends over to play Magic the Gathering card game instead.  Oh well.  At least he was in the house with us.    

It's Fair week here in Morgan, and you better believe we entered some stuff to win our dollars of prize money!  Owen entered a beetle in a web craft and a boxy dragon mask.  John entered a rain stick, Maeve entered a dragon mask, Dustin entered a zucchini, and I put in a jar of apple jelly.  Between all of us we won $12 in prize money!  Make it rain! Owen's fabulous entries John's rain stick Maeve's mask, but apparently I took the picture of the mask upside-down. :D
