Family Photo Day 2026!

Image
Cousin Zoie did it again!  It was another fun Family Photo Day!  This year we went up to Donut Falls trailhead in Little Cottonwood Canyon, not too far from several Ski Resorts.  It was gorgeous, but my favorite part of the pictures are all the wonderful people I love in them.  A big "Thank You" to my family for humoring me with a family picture day! The Big Goodbye to the Best Mini Van

Image
After 16 years of wonderful service and reliability, our 2003 Toyota Siena Minivan finally gave up the ghost.  It was the best family car, drove us well over 200,000 miles, and helped us teach 3 of the kids how to drive. Now it's time to donate it to our local PBS station to continue supporting our community in wonderful ways to come.  Thanks for the memories and the miles, Mini Van!

Summer Fun 2026

Image
What do we do to fill the time when we aren't busy going to summer camps or celebrating America?  Why, we have lots of fun mini adventures close to home, of course! Diana and I explored Zoo Utah at the Hogle Zoo together.  Diana makes a beautiful butterfly! Loyd taught John what a water ride was at Lagoon We won a Utah Pollinator Grant to take out some of our front lawn and plant native Utah plant to help support local pollinator populations.  Yea!!!!  We're working hard to kill a bunch of grass in our front yard to prepare for the native plants to come this Autumn! Yea for black plastic and yea for celebrating our native local plants and pollinators!  Bekah has an eventful Spring Term at BYU in the Russian Language Housing.  We had fun bringing her down and bringing her back home again at the end of the term.  Bekah had fun practicing her Russian language skills and sharing some of her favorite dinner recipes with her roommates.  Bekah's home!...
